1) All prices in brochures and quotations are exclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax).
2) Furniture delivery, erection and installation subject to quotation. All orders under £150 are subject to a carriage charge.
3) Risk Of Damage to or loss of Goods shall pass to client:
4) Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk in the Goods, legal and beneficial title of the goods shall not pass to the client until OFL has received cleared funds payment in full of the price of the Goods.
5) OFL reserve the right to repossess any Goods in which the supplier retains title without notice. The client irrevocably authorises the supplier to enter the Clients premises during normal business hours for the purpose of repossessing the Goods in which the Supplier retains title subject to local security procedures in place at the time.
6) Trade Descriptions Act: Merchandise Marks Act: The terms Walnut, Mahogany, Beech, Cherry, Maple, Pear, Ash, Rosewood, Teak, or Oak when applied to any of the furniture shown in brochures may denote colour or finish only and not be interpreted to mean the article of concern is constructed in that material.
7) All sizes are nominal-; slight variations occur between furniture designed in metric and imperial sizes.
8) Settlement terms are net 14 days from receipt of undisputed invoice.
9) Where OFL agree at its sole discretion to the exchange and/or return of goods a handling charge will be applied.
10) Non-standard items cannot be exchanged or returned.
11) OFL understand and will exercise its statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under late payment legislation if not paid to agreed terms.
12) Client’s must report damages before the delivery note is signed in writing.
13) OFL is not responsible for the installation of power and data products. OFL can connect and install such items however responsibility lies with the client.
14) OFL quotations will remain valid for 30 days from date of quotation.
1) Quoted price includes delivery and installation during normal working hours ( Mon-Fri 08.00/18.00)
2) OFL`s prices include delivery and installation to a clear site with unrestricted access, ie no builders, existing furniture, building materials etc.
3) Delivery and installation is included where OFL have unrestricted access to park outside our Client’s building, ie car park, loading bay etc.
Not on a red route or restricted loading area.
4) Delivery and installation is included where OFL has full access to a goods or passenger lift Mon-Fri between 08.00/18.00 where installation is above ground floor level.
5) The price quoted does not include for dated and timed deliveries. The Delivery Date is approximate only and time for delivery shall not be of the essence unless agreed by the Supplier in writing. The Goods may be delivered by the Supplier in advance of the Delivery Date upon giving reasonable notice to the Client.
7) In the event that an agreed delivery date is changed or delayed by the customer OFL reserve the right to add storage charges.
8) OFL will invoice for all goods on the date of the planned installation, even if this date is delayed by the Client.
9) OFL reserves the right to deliver on any size vehicle. Additional cost may be incurred if client requires delivery by a specific size vehicle – weight loading.
10) OFL recommend you adhere to the following through a third party: British Standards Electrical testing (per workstation) to standard
BS 6396:1998 specification for electrical systems in office furniture and office screens. The under desk electrical power modules supplied
by OFL will be fitted and earthed to the cable tray. It is however the client responsibility to ensure that all wiring/earthing complies and
is tested to the electrical regulations.
11) All delivery notes must be signed by the client representative. OFL reserve the right to refuse delivery without a signature. OFL will not be held responsible for any damages incurred that are not reported when signing off the project.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Office Furniture London Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
